Its composition is bold yet remarkably simple: a large soft pink rectangular field occupies one section of the rug, while the remaining warm ivory surface is covered with hundreds of small, irregular black handwoven marks arranged in loose vertical rows.

The contrast between the solid block of color and the repeated black motifs creates an almost graphic, contemporary composition. Yet the slight variations between every mark reveal the hand of the artisan — none is perfectly identical, giving the pattern movement and an unmistakably handmade character.
